Sailing stone images
Sailing stones appear in Death Valley, Nevada; the rocks apparently move around and leave a track, the cause of this "sailing stone" effect was unknown until recently when it was discovered that rocks were pushed around by water from a nearby lake and wind, creating a slippery surface for rocks to slide.
